    Most of our athletes attend training sessions twice per week and are on the 12-month annual program, which offers the best value and the most consistent improvements in speed, agility, strength, mobility, and injury reduction. We also offer the option to attend more days, so if an athlete is in the offseason or wants more training, we are here to accommodate their needs!
  • Why should my athlete train at 289 Sports if they already have strength training at school?
    It's not about doing more, but about doing the most beneficial things in a professional, sports-specific manner that optimizes performance without burning athletes out. Nearly all of our athletes play sports year-round. Their bodies need the qualities we emphasize at 289 Sports to maximize performance and reduce injury risk. Our training methods are unique and differ significantly from traditional school strength programs. Training with us offers the benefits of smaller groups, more individualized attention, and filling in the gaps often missing in school settings. Additionally, our athletes are constantly measured on 12 key performance indicators, so they and their families always know where they are making progress. Schools typically test 3-4 strength lifts and may not monitor anything else. We are highly educated professionals who excel in practice, programming, and data-driven results!
  • Can I cancel or pause my training at 289 Sports? Are there any fees?
    We highly value committed athletes and their goals, offering different lengths of training packages to be flexible for our families. Yes, you can cancel at any time, but there is a $500 cancellation fee for any early cancellation. We rely on committed athletes and expect our clients to share a similar mindset in reaching their goals. When someone signs up for a discounted package and cancels early, it impacts our business. Yes, you can pause your training for a maximum of 3 months, at which point the subscription will auto-renew. We understand that things happen, seasons change, and some may need to pause their plan, so we've built in that opportunity for our athletes.
  • What are the costs for athlete training sessions at 289 Sports?
    Pricing varies based on the length of an athlete's commitment. We offer 3, 6, and 12-month training sessions. The price reduces and value increases with a longer commitment to improving athletic performance. All programs are billed automatically on a monthly basis and are signed up via the website. Typical Athlete Schedule: 8 sessions per month 3 months = $87.50 per week 6 months = $75 per week 12 months = $50 per week Summer Only = $600 (8 weeks at 2x/week)
